ABOUT ANNA!
ANNA PRIMIANI is an award winning actress, writer and filmmaker. Originally from Italy, Anna resides in Canada. She has starred in Feature Films, TV shows, Short films and Commercials.
She has trained professionally in Alberta, Vancouver, LA and graduated from the UOfA. Anna is also an award winning screenwriter and producer. Currently she has 3 projects in the festival circuit: her award winning short script WEIGHT, that most recently won BEST SHORT SCRIPT at YES! LETS MAKE A MOVIE FILM FESTIVAL, that is in per-production, LET FOREVER BE a micro-short she wrote and starred in, which garnered her multiple awards for acting and best short. THE CHOICE, which she wrote, produced and stars in, premiered at the 56th Annual WorldFest Houston International Film Festival in April2023 and took home the top award-GRAND PRIZE REMI for Best In Show, Original Dramatic Short. Hallmark's Team Bride, where she plays Vanessa, will be released later this year. She wrapped filming her role in Castle Rock Entertainment's "Wind River:Rising also out later this year." She can be seen playing a doctor in the new HSAA commercial and campaign. She is also working as a writer/producer on the Telus Optik TV Show Queens of Resilience with Kim Hayden.
THE TABLE BETWEEN US, her latest short film that she wrote and will star in, is in pre-pruduction and shooting this fall.

ANNA continues to explore complex characters and bringing them to life on the screen. She has written many short films, essays, short stories and now is writing her first feature film. She is an emerging as a producer and believes in cultivating community and growth.
Anna will be in THE LONG HAUL debut short film for first time Writer/Producer Brooke Erensoy filming Summer 2024.
Anna filmed Wind River: Rising out later this year.

Anna starred in, wrote and produced her short film THE CHOICE . The Choice had
world premiere at the 56th annual WorldFest Houston International Film Festival
here she won the GRAND PRIZE GOLDEN REMI AWARD for Best in Show-Original
Dramatic Short. Anna is honored to receive an award preciously bestowed to film legends including, Steven Spielberg and Ang Lee. THE CHOICE had its's Alberta Premiere in its hometown at the Edmonton Short Film Festival. Global interview HERE.
Her short film LET FOREVER BE, has won best short film and ANNA won for BEST ACTRESS in several festivals including Toronto Independent Film Festival at CIFT and Florida Shorts. It is screening at the MLC AWARDS on January 14th 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Anna is nominated for Best Leading Actress, the film is also nominated for cinematography and best original idea.
Her Short Script WEIGHT has also won multiple awards and is in the stages of
securing financing to move into pre-producution.
