The Artist
Anna Primiani is a professionally trained, award-winning actress with a rich background in film and performance, having studied at VADA, in Hollywood studios, and at the University of Alberta. She has appeared in commercials, short films, and independent and feature films, earning praise for her emotional depth and screen presence - including roles in Castle Rock's Wind River, Northern Gateway Films' Team Bride, The Girl Who Lived on Lifetime, and as Cleopatra in Disney's Treasure Buddies.
Fueled by a passion for dynamic, emotionally resonant storytelling and a deep understanding of character, she expanded her creative work into screenwriting, where her compelling narratives and richly developed characters have earned critical acclaim and multiple awards.
She continues to work as an actor while also writing and producing. She is the co-founder of Actors Toolbox Classes in Edmonton. In 2024, she founded her production company, Dark Wolf Films, and is currently in pre-production on her debut feature film, TRAFICADA.

The Table Between Us
The Choice
Let Forever Be
The debut production of Dark Wolf Films. This award-winning short earned five AMPIA nominations, won Best Long Short at the Edmonton Short Film Festival, and FAVA Fest winner for best short and best performance and writing for Anna and screening at festivals worldwide.
Written, produced and starring Anna. The Choice won the Grand Prize Golden Remi Award for Best Dramatic Short at the 56th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival - an honor previously given to legends like Steven Spielberg and Ang Lee.
Anna won Best Actress at several festivals for Let Forever Be, including Florida Shorts, and earned a Best Leading Actress nomination at the Stockholm International Film Festival.

The Choice won the Grand Prize Golden Remi at the 56th WorldFest Houston International Film Festival, plus Best Canadian Short at GIFFT Toronto 2024.
Anna has been featured by CBC Radio, Global News, and Ladies Corner Magazine, and was selected for the Alberta Producer Accelerator program supported by Access Canada and learnign along side Academy Award winner J. Miles Dale.
